What We Do


Our group is active in the area of Distributed Intelligence, with special interests in application over Wireless and Mobile Communication Networks.

Applications: Edge Intelligence, Wireless Mobile Computing, Cyber Physical Systems, Internet of Things, Robots Swarm, Energy Harvesting Systems, etc.
Methodologies: Evolutionary Computation, Machine Learning, Game Theory, Markov Decision Process (MDP), Multi-Agent Systems, etc.
Tools: Matlab, Python, C, Latex, etc.

Research Interests


Distributed AI

Our group focuses on distributed machine learning within the context of distributed artificial intelligence, involving collaborative model training across multiple IoT devices.

Tools: PyTorch.

Internet of Things

The related research includes short-range wireless communication, low power wide area wireless communication, edge computing, mobile computing, and other new paradigms and their application systems.

Simulator: NS-2, OMNET++, Matlab.

Swarm Robotics

Robot swarms including the hardware and algorithms for cooperation and control are studied through theoretical research, simulation, and implementation. These works will help people to further understand the natural self-organization system.

Simulator: MaCA(Multi-agent Combat Arena), RoboCup2D.
